Notice

The article 2022 Israeli-Palestinian clashes has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fork of 2022 Al-Aqsa Mosque storming created by non ecp editor.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Possible inclusion on WP:Did You Know

[edit]

Hi Yokohama! I can see that you're still improving CIA activities in Japan and it looks good so far. Once you feel like it's been built out enough, it would be a good nominee for WP:Did You Know which would a run an interesting fact from the article on the front page of Wikipedia. It has to be nominated within 7 days of being accepted in AfC and have no tags though. Let me know if you're interested! BuySomeApples (talk) 18:12, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I'm interested in nominating the article for DYK in the near future. It isn't complete yet but should be mostly done in around 4 days. I think that an interesting section to nominate would be the propaganda activities section where the CIA shipped 10 colored TV receivers to broadcast propaganda for the LDP. Thanks! Your GA nomination of CIA activities in Japan

[edit]

The article CIA activities in Japan you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:CIA activities in Japan for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. DYK for CIA activities in Japan

[edit]

On22 July 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article CIA activities in Japan, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the CIA shipped color TV sets to Japan to broadcast propaganda for the Liberal Democratic Party? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/CIA activities in Japan. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, CIA activities in Japan), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Yamada Yoko Incident moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Yamada Yoko Incident, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:53, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
