Welcome to the WikiProject Animation Collaboration of the month! The aim of this project is to improve the quality of Wikipedia's Animation articles through widespread cooperative editing. It is our hope that some of these will go on to become featured articles.

Each month a Animation Collaboration of the month is to be picked using this page. This is specifically for Animation related topics which are not at "Good" status. The article could be a stub or even be currently listed on at the open tasks page. Any registered user can nominate an article and can vote for any one of the nominated articles. Every First day of the month, the votes are tallied. The selected article will then be the focus of a group effort to improve the article. Any editor, registered or not, can help with the collaboration, and contribute to the selected article. For more information please see the Animation WikiProject.

The next collaboration will be selected in the next month. The current date and time is 26 July 2024 T 20:57 UTC.

At the beginning of every month, a new collaboration article should be selected. This should generally be the candidate with the most support (and the oldest candidate in case of a tie).

To archive the current collaboration:

1. Remove {{WPAnimation COTW Notice}} from the top of the current collaboration article.
2. Move the current article's nomination text to the archive.

To select the new collaboration:

1. Add {{WPAnimation COTW Notice}} to the talk page the new article.
2. Move the new article's nomination text to the "Current collaboration" section.
3. Update Wikipedia:WikiProject Animation/Collaboration/Current to point to the new article.
4. Replace |collaboration-candidate=yes with |past-collaboration=<start date>–<end date> in the {{WikiProject Animation}} project banner at the top of the new article's talk page.
