Tata/MDI OneCAT

OneCAT は、インドのタタ・モーターズと空気エンジン開発会社のMDIが開発中の圧縮空気を動力とする自動車である。標準的な電気プラグから供給される電気で圧縮機を作動させればエアタンクは4時間で満タンになる。MDIはガソリンスタンドに3分で満タンになる圧縮機を設置する事を計画している。^[1] ガソリンの費用はかからず化石燃料に起因する排出ガスが出ない。(電気代は1/3であるUS fare 2008) OneCATは5座席でトランクがある。街乗りであれば100 km/hで90km走れる。価格帯は開発途上国の顧客に手の届く($5,100から$7,800)を予定している。^[2] CATの生産は2009年からスペインとオーストラリアの市場も視野に入れている。
