ブロック措置について
はじめまして、本日数名の方をindefiniteブロックとされておりますが、いったい如何なる理由に基づくものなのでしょうか？英語で理由を書かれていらっしゃるようですが、非英語圏の人間にとっては正確に理解ができず、あらぬ誤解なども招きかねません。申し訳ないのですが、投稿ブロックを行われた根拠などについて可能であれば日本語でご説明願えませんでしょうか？︵私のつたない英語力で読む限り、英語版の利用者個人の判断でブロックが行われているようなのですが、これは何か特別のことなのでしょうか？ ←誤読がありましたらご指摘願います︶
なお現状の日本語版wikipediaにおける投稿ブロックは、Wikipedia:投稿ブロックの方針に記載があるように﹁投稿ブロックの対象となる行為を故意に継続しており、複数ユーザーからの中止要請に応じないユーザー﹂︵即時ブロックは除く︶のみ対象となっており、現状では投稿ブロックするにあたらないユーザーと解釈しております。また即時ブロックに該当するような行為もなされていないように思えます。
例外のない規定は存在しないとは思いますが、現状では何故例外的なブロックを行ったかについても十分な説明をいただいておらず、私個人としては不当なブロックではないかと認識せざるを得ない状況です。現在の状況ではブロック解除を提案せざるを得ないと考えますので、お手数ではございますがいま少しブロックを行った理由についてご解説していただくわけにはいきませんでしょうか？Kamakura 2005年5月11日 (水) 14:26 (UTC)

ちょっと自分の誤認や不明な点などがあって、十分説明しないままに終わってしまったのですが、一応改めて説明します。 Angelaさんが行った4件のブロックは、開発者によるデータベースなどの調査を経て、同一人物によって作成された可能性が濃厚、と判定されたものです。 もともと依頼が理事会を通したものだったので、報告を受けたAngelaさんがブロックを実施した形です。僕はメールのやりとりを一部始終見ていました。︵全部ではないかも知れませんが。︶ 理事会の決定はもちろんウィキペディアのコミュニティの決定に優先しますが、理事会があれこれの詳細を把握した上で行動を起こす場合も、そうでない場合もあります。プロジェクトの自治・運営まわりは、Angelaさんとしても余り関与したくない様子でしたし、ましてやそれを気まぐれや独断でやったと誤解されるのは是非避けたいというところのようです。︵まあ当然だと思いますが。︶ そこで、今回のブロックが不適切だったということであれば、日本語版にはこういう事情があるから、次回からは気をつけて欲しい、とか、実はこういう措置をした方がよかった、というような意見を出すのはもちろん可能ですし、理事会は当然ながらコミュニティーの意向を尊重するのできちんとした対応があると思います。︵それこそブロックの取り消しも含めて︶ 理事会の最優先事項は、定款 に規定されたウィキメディアの目標を実現することで、それに反するようなコミュニティの合意であれば、もちろん理事会がそれをくつがえすこともありますが、今回の件はそういうことではないと思いますし。 即時ブロックは、ユーザ名が不適切だったため、と僕は理解しました。 最近忙殺されていますが、Angelaさんや理事会に意見、質問などがあれば、英語のヘルプはできる範囲で行いたいと思っているので、Tomosまで声をかけてみて下さい。 Tomos 2005年5月12日 (木) 13:35 (UTC) Hello Kamakura. I am sorry for not being able to explain my actions in Japanese. I emailed two admins I know (Tomos and Suisui) asking for their help in explaining the reasons for four accounts being blocked by me, and I think Tomos has explaining above, and perhaps also on the requests for blocking pages. In case anything was missed out, an email was received by the board explaining a problem with these accounts. I asked Tim Starling, a developer, to check these accounts, and he confirmed that they were all the same person. I believed they were created to cause disruption to the site, and were not good faith accounts. Jimmy Wales was also aware of the problem and recommended this problem user be blocked. I expected that since there was proof of these accounts being the same person that there would be community concensus in blocking them. I did not wait to find this out however, since I felt it was important to put a stop to any possible problems as soon as possible. If I wrong about this, and there isn't consensus, please let me know. It is, of course, possible for any admin to reverse the block, though I would hope that people would try to discuss this with me before doing that and I could try to explain further.
