倉田重夫

倉田 重夫︵くらた しげお︶は、日本の植物学者でウツボカズラ属 Nepenthes の分類で業績を残した。1960年代から1970年代に多くの種を分類した[1][2]。1976年にNepenthes of Mount Kinabalu[3]を著した。Nepenthes kurata は、倉田への献名である[2]。

倉田は、N. campanulata[4]、N. eymae[5]、N. mindanaoensis[6]、N. peltata[7]、N. rhombicaulis[4]、N. saranganiensis[8]を含むウツボカズラ属の多くの種を記載した。また、後にチャールズ・クラークが自然雑種であることを示した[9]N. pyriformis[6]も記載した。他に、倉田が命名した雑種には、N. × ferrugineomarginata、N. × kinabaluensis、N. × kuchingensis等がある。
Sh.Kurataは、植物の学名で命名者を示す場合に倉田重夫を示すのに使われる。（命名者略記を閲覧する／IPNIでAuthor Detailsを検索する。）
