Yandin Wind Farm is an under construction wind power station in Dandaragan, Western Australia.
Construction commenced in July 2019. It will comprise 51 turbines with hub heights of 105m to maximise performance in the site’s specific wind conditions. The turbines are Vestas V150 variants with a 4.2 MW capacity and the total capacity of Yandin (214 MW) makes it the largest wind farm in Western Australia.[1][2]
Commissioning begun in July with up to 90 MW being exported onto the SWIS grid.[3] The wind farm full commissioning (completion and exporting to grid at full capacity) is expected to be in 2020.
