Asgaran (Persian: عسگران)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Karvan DistrictofTiran and Karvan County, Isfahan province, Iran.[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Karvan-e Olya Rural District.[5]
At the 2006 census, its population was 4,037 in 1,109 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 4,521 people in 1,353 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,858 people in 1,462 households.[2]
