Sejzi (Persian: سجزئ)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Sistan DistrictofKuhpayeh County, Isfahan province, Iran.[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Sistan Rural District.[5] It is northeast by road from Isfahan and contains an industrial area to the southwest of the city.

At the 2006 census, its population was 4,392 in 1,216 households, when it was in the former Kuhpayeh DistrictofIsfahan County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 4,698 people in 1,473 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 5,063 people in 1,618 households.[2]

In 2021, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Kuhpayeh County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Kuhpayeh as its capital.[4]
