Goldasht (Persian: گلدشت)[a] is a city in the Central DistrictofNajafabad County, Isfahan province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 22,693 in 5,830 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 23,192 people in 6,686 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 25,235 people in 7,582 households.[2]

  1. ^ Formerly, Qaleh Shah (قلعه شاه), also RomanizedasQal‘eh Shāh, Qal‘eh-ye Shāh, and also known as Ghalehshah (English: Castle of the King); and also known after the Iranian RevolutionasShahrak-i Imam (شهرک امام) (City of the Imam) in honor of Ayatollah Khomeini[3]
