Eslamabad (Persian: اسلام ابا)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Eslamabad DistrictofParsabad County, Ardabil province, Iran.[3]

At the 2006 census, its population was 3,069 in 629 households, when it was a village in the former Qeshlaq-e Shomali Rural District of the Central District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,349 people in 869 households.[5] The 2016 census showed a population of 3,068 people in 829 households,[2] by which time the village had become the city of Eslamabad in the newly established Eslamabad District.[3]
