HiSoaper1234, and thanks for the review! The article is called Barracuda Lounge for the purposes of WP:NATURAL disambiguation, since the Barracuda article is about the fish. A minority of sources refer to the venue as "Barracuda Lounge" or even "The Barracuda Lounge" (though most just call it "Barracuda"), so this seemed an appropriate way to distinguish it from the fish while avoiding parenthetical disambiguation. (1) MOS:LINK, specifically MOS:SEAOFBLUE, indicates that placing two links right next to each other is not appropriate as they are not visually distinguishable. (2) MOS:POSTABBR indicates that postcodes (including the US equivalent) and state abbreviations should not be included in infoboxes. @Nikkimaria: Thanks. I'm aware of MOS:SEAOFBLUE, which says to avoid links right next to each other when possible, but it does not strictly prohibit the practice. MOS:POSTABBR is something I'd searched for but not found previously—thank you for linking that! Do you know of any documentation on how the address field and location field are supposed to be used together in infoboxes like this? Unfortunately that's something that's typically documented on a template-by-template basis. On the matter of linking, while it's not strictly prohibited, I don't see a strong rationale for this edit since it makes the article less accessible for our readers. Can you explain? Yes. This edit undid a change that had introduced a grammatical error into the sentence. The term "New York City" is offset by commas per MOS:GEOCOMMA, but changing the first comma to "in" without deleting the second comma makes the remaining comma an error. The clause "that is known for its nightly drag shows" is a restrictive relative clause and is not supposed to be preceded by a comma.
Simply removing the comma would result in a grammatical sentence, but it would also make the sentence more cumbersome and less readable. Having some kind of punctuation to break the sentence up makes it clearer for readers, but obviously it shouldn't go against grammatical conventions or the MOS. Personally, I think the present version is the most concise way to handle that, though I'm open to suggestions. Armadillopteryxtalk11:19, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Just wanted to leave a quick note that there is significant variation in screen sizes + aspect ratios, and edits that may make an article look better one one screen can be a significant disimprovement on another.
The latest two formatting edits to this article make it much worse on my screen. The "Star Search" image is now pushed many lines down from where it's meant to be, as it's crashing into the infobox. This in turn pushes the image of Nathan Lane further down, and that image then pushes the image of the fish tank so far down that it's not even in the right section anymore.
I also don't think, in general, that it looks good for a relatively short article with five images to have them all aligned on one side of the screen and none of the other. It looks like one long snake of a photo gallery on my screen.
The latest edits to the Q similarly cause issues on my screen. The photo grid is pushed way out of position by the infobox, which wasn't happening when the grid was on the left side of the page instead of the right.
I'm assuming these edits are improvements to the article on your screen, so I won't revert them, but did just want to point out that it may be worth it to consider what's optimal for screens of different sizes and aspect ratios when making layout adjustments.
@Armadillopteryx Hello! I completely understand where you're coming from. Ever since Vector 2022 was implemented, I've tried to place media in ways which work for many screen types. On my screen, left-aligned images are often problematic and cause text to get squeezed. I've been working to adjust media based on the new skin, but understand what looks best on my laptop screen may not look best for others. I very much invite you to display images in the ways that work best for you, especially on articles where you're the primary author! I certainly won't be offended -- I want the articles to look the best for the most number of people, so be bold! :) ---Another Believer(Talk)12:21, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Update: I've reverted my two most recent edits. As I said in the edit summary, I don't prefer how the two-image gallery with the caption "Stage area at Barracuda..." interferes with the box quote, but I want what's best for most users.
