Reviewer: Wilhelmina Will (talk · contribs) 06:48, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

GA criteria[edit]

  • Well-written:
  • With modifications made according to the discussion in the below section, the article now complies with MOS policies on grammar, as well as structure/layout in general. Herein dwells the greatest dictionary ever composed! (talk) 03:13, 2 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

    (a) the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct
    (b) it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation
  • Verifiable with no original research:
  • In comparison to its current overall size, the article has a relatively vast bibliography of sources. As far as verifiability goes, no part of the text seems to be left to chance. Herein dwells the greatest dictionary ever composed! (talk) 10:21, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

    (a) it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline
    (b) reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose)
    (c) it contains no original research
  • Broad in its coverage:
  • The article decently covers all aspects of the topic one would expect to see covered. Herein dwells the greatest dictionary ever composed! (talk) 10:19, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

    (a) it addresses the main aspects of the topic
    (b) it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style)
  • Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each.
  • No biased expressions in the text. Herein dwells the greatest dictionary ever composed! (talk) 10:14, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute.
  • The revision history shows that the article has not been the subject of any edit warring since its creation. Herein dwells the greatest dictionary ever composed! (talk) 09:04, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio:
  • All images serve relevant illustrative purposes and use appropriate licenses. Herein dwells the greatest dictionary ever composed! (talk) 09:03, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

    (a) media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content
    (b) media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions

    Comments[edit]

There seems to be some repetition going on in the "French Cuisine" section. Take for instance:

HiWilhelmina Will – I have updated the In French cuisine section to reflect the wording you have proposed above, which is more specific and less wordy. Thanks for the suggestions. North America1000 21:10, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I forgot. Yes, that's much better now. Herein dwells the greatest dictionary ever composed! (talk) 03:11, 2 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

With apologies for the delay, I believe the article now checks out as a qualified GA. Congratulations! Herein dwells the greatest dictionary ever composed! (talk) 03:15, 2 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
