Common Uses of Coconut

1. The main use that most people think is you can eat the fruit of a coconut tree. It can be eaten raw or cooked, rich in minerals, vitamins, and powerful antioxidants. Before eating a coconut, the fruit’s white flesh needs to be separated from the hard outer shell. Then, you can use Coconut in your recipes.

Coconut shells are used to make a variety of beautiful crafts. The shells are simple to color and carve into beautiful art pieces. They’re also used by kids to play with.

@Siddusingh Where did you get this information? We can't put it in the article without a reliable source. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 07:51, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I got this information from this blog https://infoabouttrees.com/all-about-coconut-tree-images-benefits-uses-and-types/ Siddusingh (talk) 08:08, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Siddusingh Well we can't just republish that, because that would be a copyright violation. Also, blogs are not generally considered to be reliable sources. If you want to change content, please suggest it in a "change X to Y" format, and provide a reliable source. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 08:40, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: The proposed text violates applicable copyright policy; please ensure that the suggestions you make are your own work. I'd also direct you to the Manual of Style. Articles are written in an encyclopedic tone. Remember that every contentious claim you make in-text needs to have a reliable source accompanying it. @Lokeswaran Kaliyappan: Can you specify where you want this image added and elaborate on your reasoning? Note that the article is quite full of illustrations right now, so adding this image would probably require taking out one that's currently present.
