Second-Chance Beer[edit]

Can we expand upon what it means to be a "second-chance" batch. I'm not familiar with that phrase and can't seem to find it on google/wikipedia/etc. Tvh2k 00:38, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think basically it just means it tastes like shit. The stuff that doesn't make the 'quality control' for coors goes to keystone.. mmm crappy beer

the article contradicts itself- it says that it's "second-chance", and then goes on to say that Coors claims that it's not...which one is correct?

It is commonly referred on Mid-Atlantic college campuses by the phrase "Tap the Appalachians"

Second Runnings[edit]

As far as I can tell it's talking about what is called Second Runnings.

This is when a brewer makes a high gravity beer like a barleywine, after all the wort for the barleywine is collected there is enough sugars left in the mash grain to collect wort for a second low gravity beer.

But I can't imagine how this can be accurate when pertaining to Coors. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.240.27.23 (talk) 20:50, 8 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

An Interesting Fact[edit]

A curiosity of Keystone (Light) is that if you examine any single Keystone can, it will have a dent somewhere in it, usually around the top taper. Rumor has it that these are defective, relabeled Coors cans. This is a 100% guarantee to anyone who takes the time to check them out (I have checked probably hundreds). If this could be referenced, it could be an interesting factoid addition to the article. Static3d 07:15, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I can attest to that can test, but I couldn't find any references. Furthermore, that nutrtion information... is that per can, or what? What is the serving size? Creamerica

Urban legend...lol. Jmlk17 03:21, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nutritional Value and Dented Can[edit]

I took the liberty of cleaning up the nutritional information section as well as adding the "Dented Can Theory" section. Having bought two cases of Keystone Light just to observe this phenomenon, I can attest to it being the case. This would make for a pretty interesting/funny video documentary of CollegeHumor or YouTube! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by V8americanpower (talkcontribs) 16:51, 3 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]

What is this "phenomenon" exactly? Jmlk17 03:21, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, so has anyone ever found a can of Keystone that didn't have a dent in it (I'm a fan of this beer btw, if I can get Coors for a cheaper price just because of dented cans, I'm perfectly okay with that. applepwnz 7:40, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

Keith Stone[edit]

The new mascot is a fictional parody of Jack Black. I see no mention of him, nor of advertising in general. The Mysterious El Willstro (talk) 04:29, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
