I have reassessed this article's importance level as low, Peruvian cuisine is not a major cuisine in the Western hemisphere and does not have a major global presence. I also reassessed the class as c-class as the article is beyond the start-class point. --Jeremy (blah blah • I did it!)15:20, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to challenge your assessment. The "high" importance scale states: "Subject is extremely notable, but has not achieved international notability, or is only notable within a particular continent." Peruvian cuisine has received international awards, and it has certainly become (at least) notable within the South American continent. As such, this article is of "high" importance. Best of wishes.--MarshalN20 | Talk19:13, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with this guy, Jeremy wants to dictate what's relevant based on how it's regarded by the North Western world as if they're the arbiters of what's relevant on the internet while disregarding the empirical evidence in the form of international culinary recognition of Peruvian cuisine. I'm sorry we didn't colonize a third of humanity and forced our culture into the Western mainstream, Jeremy! Jesus! I suppose he must be better qualified than world renowned chefs because he has a 30 star emojis on his profile though.

I'm not too experienced in the Wikipedia editing but hope it's allowed to use bold font there. I believe it significantly improves readability and is not over-used in the article, in general. If something, please address me! Editsaki (talk) 11:01, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
