I've removed this bit:[edit]

There are many opponents to the hot cross bun, and they have been banned in the past in some local authoritiesinEngland on the grounds that they are offensive to minority groups who do not practise Christianity.

I really think this needs a reference and an example. It sounds a bit like how The Sun might fluff up a story about a council canteen not selling hot cross buns at Easter because they've run out of flour or something. In any case, it properly belongs in hot cross bun rather than here, I think. --Camembert

I've started hot cross bun and put the claims (or info, depending on how you see it) in there. --Camembert

Nonsense, bad style, or a joke?[edit]

"Spiced buns are therefore usually spicy in taste, and are predominantly bought by people who are predisposed to the taste of spices." Santtus 13:58, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've edited it out. MLA 14:14, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
