I added several pieces of information regarding NBTY products being sold at major retailers nationwide, as well as additional brands owned by NBTY. These were added to show that NBTY is a notable company, not for advertising purposes. If this seems like advertising please let me know how to go about changing it so it A) is clearly notable and B) is not advertising. Being that NBTY products are sold in such major retail stores and can probably be found in the vast majority of homes across the U.S., it should be clear that this is a notable company.PPride17:09, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Some internet companies (like http://www.euro-vitamin-shop.com/) are shipping dietary supplements anti-aging products from NBTY to Europe, which are elsewise avaiable with prescription only in wide parts of Europe. This applies e.g. to all hormons and therefore for melatonin and DHEA products.
Since there is no regular shop to buy it, and since there is no protected brand visible like e.g. Circadin, I want to know, if dietary supplements from NBTY like melatonin or DHEA are trustworthy, in the sense of: Is really inside what is written on the package? and nothing else? Who gained experience with that company and this kind of products? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.76.204.56 (talk) 18:21, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I buy not from http://www.euro-vitamin-shop.com but from similar shop http://vitaminpower-shop.com anti aging-products like Melatonin, DHEA, Q10 and OPC (Grapeseed Extract) for years now for myself and my family.
All of us are absolutely satisfied with quality and prices and first of all we're happy to be able to buy such products inside Europe without any hassles with import to Germany. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.162.251.208 (talk) 19:12, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
