Please don’t bite me, I’m a newbie!

I’m a university student in a Wikipedia Education class, and I’m currently learning how to contribute to Wikipedia.
I am approaching my subject in good faith.

If you have any concerns or questions, my tutor’s name is MNNash (talk · contribs). Thanks!

Feline hyperesthesia syndrome[edit]

Feline hyperesthesia syndrome (also known as rolling-skin disease or feline hyperaesthesia syndrome) is a rare disorder that affects cats.[1] The syndrome causes spasms in the cats back, near its tail, making the skin look like it's rolling.[1] These spasms also cause increased sensitivity, and can be set off by touching the cat in the affected area. Cats may react to the onset of the disorder by running around or attempting self-mutilation.[1] [2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
