CarambisorKarambis (Ancient Greek: Κάραμβις) was an ancient Greek city[1]ofancient Paphlagonia, on a promontory of the same name.[2] The town is mentioned in the Periplus of Pseudo-Scylax (under the name CaramusorKaramos) and by Pliny the Elder.[3] The name occurs as Carambas in the Peutinger Table.[4]

The promontory is now known as Kerempe Burnu. Its site is tentatively located near Fakas, Kastamonu Province, Turkey.[5][6]
