The subject is "notable" only because of what he spends on advertising. This article falsely implies the guy is a credible doctor. 2607:FB91:D70:331:AC2F:7D50:10FF:FEB0 (talk) 14:36, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
To add to this article: Gundry's net worth. 76.190.213.189 (talk) 06:40, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I watched Steven Gundry's interview with Mike Varshavski. He says:
We have an epidemic of autoimmune disease in this country. And I, among others, think that all diseases, coronary artery disease, is in fact an autoimmune disease. And so if you fix the underlying problem of autoimmune disease, which I and others happen to think is intestinal permeability, leaky gut, then that autoimmune disease resolves.
Gundry claims lectins are "destroying your gut" and "all disease comes from a leaky gut." This article and the lectin-free diet article don't mention his leaky gut beliefs, and they probably should. I'm not sure if there are any suitable sources that go into this level of detail though. ScienceFlyer (talk) 22:44, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
