Tricetinidin is an intense red-colored chemical compound belonging to the 3-deoxyanthocyanidins. It can be found in black tea infusions.[1] Tricetinidin, in tea, would be a product of the oxidative degallationofepigallocatechin gallate (EGCG).[2]
