My current personal goal is to understand the society by abstracting it's institutional inner workings through a rational worldview in order to find viable ways for people to achieve peace and liberty with oneself and with the surrounding world. For that, my current paradigm holds that Peace demands Equilibrium (in everything), and it is given by the harmonic sum of 2 conditions, that I see as being inseparable and self powered (as their exact oposites), those conditions are: Personal liberty & Interpersonal equity. Therefore, to summarise:

Equality ←→ Liberty (Freedom) = Stability (Balance + Equilibrium + Harmony) = Peace (Solidarity)

(Social Equality and Individual Liberty, wich are mutualy dependent, when combined brings society to a state of Stability, wich brings us to Peace, that helps mantaining the cycle trough solidarity and mutual understanding)

Inequality ←→ Captivity (Subjection) = Unstability (Unbalance + Desequilibrium) = Conflict (Predation)

(The exact opposite ideas of the former)

Said that, I choose to divide this page into 2 sections:

  1. Libertarian / Egalitarian Models of Social Structures: Templates on Progressive, Free and Open Culture moviments, trends and practices that tends to shape the world into new social systems that are: descentralized; non-hierachical; voluntary (non-coersive); bottom-up oriented; solidary; colaborative; and collective. Wich leads to a peaceful and just interpersonal social relations.
  2. Autoritarian / Inegalitarian Models of Social Structures: Templates on Traditional, Restrictive and Closed Cultures and practices that tends to mantain the world operating under the current social systems that are: centralized; hierachical; coersive; top-down oriented; predatory; competitive; and individuallist. Wich leads to a conflictive and injust interpersonal social relations.

Equality ←→ (Liberty + Freedom) = Stability (Balance + Equilibrium + Harmony) = Peace (Solidarity)[edit]

As social equality creates individual libert / freedom, and those generate again more social equality in a cycle, it can be said that they are "sides of the same coin". If we see this dinamic as a natural result of the of the Nature's Balance / Equilibrium applied to the social interrelations sphere, it would lead us to understand that this balanced cycle tends to generate peacefull relations within the society.

So, folowing this train of thought all templates in this section aims to explore social movements, actions, philosophies, trends, etc, that potentially leads people to the generation and enforcement of this kind of balanced social cycle.
