Have you seen this book on McQueen from last year here: [1]. It seems to have relevant information for both the Widows article and your current nomination for Kate Moss. Was recently handing out a Civil War barnstar to somebody, and ran across Template:ACW Barnstar. Am I the only one who is uncomfortable with the phrasing "For actions worthy of [...] Forrest"? Forrest just isn't a person I think we'd want to place as an example of good behavior.
Likewise, I find Template:Nuclear Barnstar an odd choice of image, as a hodge-podge of a good service award along with an image showing the mushroom cloud that once was a city. Hog Farm Talk 17:13, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome, subscribers, to the seventh Discontent Content newsletter! Discontent Content is a newsletter aiming to collate and improve Wikipedia articles in need of more eyes and hands to get them in shape. Its unique trimodal structure allows editors to work where they feel comfortable -- with stubs and starts needing to be brought to standard, mid-quality articles with Good or Featured potential, or quality-assessed articles needing help to maintain their status. Articles in this category are those that need to be brought up to a minimum quality standard. Some will be stubs; others will be longer articles that nonetheless have significant concerns putting them far below B- or C-class adequacy. This issue's Category 1 articles are:

Articles in this category have been assessed through a content review process in the past, but may require work to be brought up to current GA/FA standard. Editors can help bring them to a level where the star or plus near their names can once again shine. This issue's Category 3 articles are:

[s]ysops can choose to use revdel if, in their view, it's the right tool for this situation, and they need not default to oversight. But oversight could well be right where there's a particularly high risk to the person. Use your judgment.
local consensus which may or may not reflect the broader community consensus. Regular closers of XfD forums were also encouraged to
note when broader community discussion, or changes to policies and guidelines, would be helpful.
Nominations for the upcoming project coordinator election have opened. A team of up to ten coordinators will be elected for the next coordination year. The project coordinators are the designated points of contact for issues concerning the project, and are responsible for maintaining our internal structure and processes. They do not, however, have any authority over article content or editor conduct, or any other special powers. More information on being a coordinator is available here. If you are interested in running, please sign up here by 23:59 UTC on 14 September! Voting will commence on 15 September. If you have any questions, you can contact any member of the current coord team. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:05, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Vami is active on WP:DISCORD and has identified some articles that likely contain copyvio. I'll be maintaining a rolling list of them here as a sort of mini CCI. Anyone is welcome to help out, of course. — SamX [talk · contribs] 12:31, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you today for Tinder Fire, introduced: "This is another wildfire article and another from the state of Arizona. This is also a briefer one, without any ecological tail that any sources I saw bothered to note. In April 2018, parties unknown lit a campfire in a no-fire zone of the Coconino National Forest. A month later, 16,000 acres of National Forest and 96 structures had burned. The responsible parties were never caught."! -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:32, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
