The reward board is an informal page where users who want a specific task related to Wikipedia (such as the promotion of an article to featured article status or the editing of an image) can offer a reward to editors willing to take on the task. The execution and details of the transaction are the responsibility of the participating parties, and the reward can be monetary (including cryptocurrency), goods (books, cookies, etc.), barnstars, or tit-for-tat editing (like improving another article).
Reward board is similar to the defunct Bounty board; however, instead of a donation to the Wikimedia Foundation, payment is made directly to a specific editor.
The Wikimedia Foundation is not hiring contributors and no payments are made by the Foundation. This is purely a page for editors to offer rewards to other editors. Challenges may remain open for a maximum duration of one year. After that period of time, the challenge will be moved to expired requests; however, the author of the challenge may repost the challenge with a new expiration period. The aim of this policy is to keep the board clutter-free, ensure editors are available to fulfill such challenges, and to ensure the challenges are still valid.
If you would like to offer a reward such as the ones below, simply add an entry below. Add all the details that you feel are relevant to the reward, in a format similar to this pattern:

Get a Four Award on an article related to the Latin Empire[edit]
Request: Improve Appalachia to GA and/or FA status.

Limit on rewards: One for the push to GA and one for the push to FA.
Expires: One year from offer date (February 22, 2024 - February 22, 2025)

Expires: The article must be nominated as an FA candidate by 10 August 2024 (I reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time)
Request: Create entries on WP:Selected anniversaries that will be eligible to be featured on the “On This Day” section. The entries you submit must be different from existing ones. Example: If a day has ten 20th century events that are eligible, try having a pre-1700 entry.
Reward: An appropriate bar star.
Limit on rewards: Reasonable number of barnstars, I will not give 25 barnstars if you complete this twenty-five times within a month.
Expires: One year - 1 August 2024

@HeartGlow30797: Just went through 4 January and requested the removal of Clara Emilia Smitt (Her birthday was both unknown specifically and was in the Spring, not Winter). I also did some required cleanup of Erwin Schrödinger to qualify his death for the day. The talk page has both requests, though neither have been addressed as of this comment. Request: Take a good photograph of Peggy (dog) for her Wikipedia page. The photo must be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons. I believe she lives in East Yorkshire. However, do NOT scare her family or do anything creepy or illegal to get the picture; only photograph her in public, or in private with the consent of her family.
Reward: The Canine Barnstar as well as a little Barnstar sculpted in polymer clay, which can be attached to a pet collar (or a keychain if you don't have a dog or cat)
Limit on rewards: If a Commons-compatible image becomes available from another source before anyone can take the photo, the offer will expire.
