Yegoryevsky District (Russian: Его́рьевский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the thirty-sixinMoscow Oblast, Russia. It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,717.06 square kilometers (662.96 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the townofYegoryevsk.[1] Population: 102,958 (2010 Census);[3] 98,063 (2002 Census);[7] 32,229 (1989 Soviet census).[8] The population of Yegoryevsk accounts for 68.1% of the district's total population.[3]
