2016年パタンコット襲撃事件[編集]

インドの空軍基地に対する2016年パタンコット襲撃事件は、マスード・アズハルとその兄弟に指導されたものと言われている。襲撃が始まった後でさえテロリストと直接接触していた。インドの捜査当局は、アズハルがテロ攻撃の共犯である証拠を含む書類を示していて、「インターポール」から二度目の「国際手配」を行うことも要請した[28][29]
