Lagane e ceci or lagane e cicciari pasta del brigante lit. ' brigand's pasta ' ),[1] pasta dish originating in the Calabria region of Italy . It consists of lagane [2] chickpeas , garlic , and oil.[3]
The dish is associated with the custom of u cumbitu [4] [5] Saint Joseph's Day (19 March),[6] cod and zeppole ,[7] [8] [6] feudal society.[9] [10] U cumbitu [7] social solidarity and fraternity.[4] [11]
