The Wochenbeilage has a portrait of the artist Ludwig Nick. Any other portrait, either photograph or drawing, would of course be welcome also.
Additionally: my work on this article has brought me valuable sources and databases, but I am still unable to confirm Nick's date and place of death. Allgemeines Künstlerlexikon says he died 8 August 1936 in Weimar, but a newspaper from the region already on 16 July 1936 says he died in Jena. Does anyone have a link to the relevant Standesamt database? (I assume the record of his death is public now.) Thanks, Eissink (talk) 16:46, 15 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Townshend, Charles (1975). The British Campaign in Ireland, 1919-21: The Development of Political and Military Policies. Oxford University Press. p. 36-37. ISBN0198218745.
Townshend refers to a speech by Lloyd George at Carnarvon. I need to know both what Townshend says and the quoted material, but also Townshend's source for the speech, which may be in footnotes or endnotes.

Hi, I couldn't find this article on ProQuest, JSTOR or T&F through WP:Library. Would someone with a Science Direct subscription mind sending a copy? Many thanks for your help - Dumelow (talk) 16:09, 24 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. I'm looking for any sources from 1980+ onwards for my draft on Sharron Moran. Specifically I'm looking for two things: 1) When did she retire from the LPGA? I see sources that state she was a former pro in an 1982 and 1987 source from Newspapers.com, but I've seen sources that state she has played on a LPGA tour event during these years. Maybe she retired in the 1980s then came back? It's also possible she switched professional tours. 2) When did she start teaching golf? Like above, I see sources that suggest she was teaching golf in the 1980s. These twosources also suggest that she's still teaching as of the 2010s. Though I don't want a massive gap in her career if there are sources available during this time range. Thanks! MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 22:52, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Bookku: This chapter has been uploaded to Academia.edu here. It appears to be only five pages long, so I'm not if it is the complete chapter. Also it's not that good a copy, but it may help you. —Bruce1eetalk15:22, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oxford Academic article from Holocaust and Genocide Studies[edit]
Cox, Earl (January 21, 2009). "Meeks not first star from Georgia". The Louisville Voice-Tribune.
Bill Spivey, a GA I've contributed to, has this citation for which the original source link has gone dead. If anyone here has access to archives from this paper (which I do not), I'd greatly appreciate it if a page number could be provided here so that the citation can be made truly verifiable.
Yes I can see many as well, but unfortunately some key ones are missing, such as 307 and 310, which I badly need since this is one of the most confusing parts. --HistoryofIran (talk) 01:39, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

For Darkseid. I am currently rewriting the article in draftspace and this popped up in a Google Scholar search. If anyone has it, does it go into depth on Darkseid at all? I'm looking for scholarly analysis of the character, as I think it'd be great to include.

After article or article detail from NY Times Machine -- who has access?[edit]
"ELISABETH THOMAS, AUTHOR AND PAINTER". New York Times: 29. 1955-06-29.
I am looking for someone with access to New York Times TimesMachine to grab the detail of what I believe will be an obituary or a news report of death.
ELISABETH THOMAS, AUTHOR AND PAINTER > June 29, 1955, Page 29 [8]
I'm pretty certain that this person is s:Author:Elizabeth Rebecca Finley / Elisabeth Finley Thomas (Q55222075) who I can trace to NYC in 1953. Someone can either add the information to the enWS author talk page, or contact me by whatever means is more suitable. Thanks to anyone who can help, or point me to someone with access.
I'm not sure how to format this request. It was recommended that I try here (from this query on the WP ref desk: [9]). I am unable to access the following Chicago Tribune article:
I can send you a copy of the article from ProQuest, if you email me. I take it that you do not have a registered account, so you cannot just Wikimail me. Jo-Jo Eumerus, the first google hit, which takes one to Dunbar's website, appears to be what you're looking for (link; and as linked from her publications page). Although it is only two paragraphs, it appears that only an abstract was published; the fuller citation here indicates that it appeared on page 37 only. --Usernameunique (talk) 05:58, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I need the text of the section of ISO 4217:2015 (ie the current version of ISO 4217) which describes ISO 4217 "Minor units". Wikipedia quotes ISO 4217:2008 (ie an older version of ISO 4217) at ISO 4217#Minor units of currency. I'm working on that section and need to know whether anything has changed in the text of the standard.

8.1 to 8.6 numbers in bracket are image numbers of very old images, in the given chapter. My primary understanding at first sight has been these images seem very old and expected to be copyright free.
Page number and image numbers in bracket: 236(8.1), 244(8.2), 252(8.3), 254(8.4), 255(8.5), 259(8.6) For article Superstitions in Muslim societies
This time I do not need document, due to my limitations in technical and copyright understanding I need some one to assist to access, examine and then upload images to Wikimedia commons to use in the article Superstitions in Muslim societies.
(I had made the same request earlier at commons but they did not get access to the document so I am making request to this forum)
Bookku, I added a DOI to your citation above, which links to the chapter in question. It is relatively easily retrievable from there (although there is a paywall), although you said you don't need the chapter itself. The images are already online, and two are on Commons.
If you need help uploading these to Commons, I would ask on a help desk there. Note that 8.1 to 8.5 are certainly out of copyright, as understood by Commons policy; they're either super-old two-dimensional works, or, in the case of 8.5, placed in the public domain by the Met. 8.6 consists of photos (of a three-dimensional work) over which the Smithsonian claims copyright, and so may still be copyrighted. I would ask on Commons also, though, as they may be considered to be in public domain as works of U.S. government employees. --Usernameunique (talk) 07:03, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@ Usernameunique, It's very nice of you. I will put up request on Commons help desk. Many thanks and warm regards.

Geological Society of America-Asociación Geológica Argentina Mendoza[edit]
Greetings, has someone access to "Marchetti, D., et al. "Cosmogenic exposure ages of lava flows that temporarily dammed the Rio Grande and Rio Salado, Mendoza Province, Argentina." Backbone of the Americas. Patagonia to Alaska. Vol. 5. Geological Society of America-Asociación Geológica Argentina Mendoza, 2006."?
I wanted to see if there is enough material for writing articles on these volcanoes.
Jo-Jo Eumerus, per the link you provided, this was published on page 1 of Geophysical Research Abstracts. Unless you have reason to believe that there a full paper published as well, this looks like it's it. A PDF version is here. --Usernameunique (talk) 10:10, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Jo-Jo Eumerus, given that it's an abstract of a paper that was apparently presented at a 2019 conference, the paper itself might still be unpublished. The authors' details, including an email address for one of them, are in the PDF I linked above if you feel like reaching out to them or searching online for their cvs. --Usernameunique (talk) 11:28, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Eva Margareta Steinby (?), Anna Leone, Domenico Palombi, Susan Walker (ed.), Res bene gestae: ricerche di storia urbana su Roma antica in onore di Eva Margareta Steinby. Lexicon Topographicum Urbis Romae, Supplementum, IV. Rome: Edizioni Quasar, 2007. Pp. xviii, 478; 169 ills. ISBN9788871403533, pp. 180-190.
I'm not entirely sure of the reference as I've found conflicting citations. The pages I need should deal with the Temple of Quirinus (especially pp. 185-187). They should be written by Filippo Coarelli.
Edward Togo Salmon, Samnium and the Samnites, Cambridge University Press, 1967. ISBN9780521135726.
I need chapter VI "The Second Samnite War", pp. 214-255, and page 324.
Robert Develin, The Practice of Politics at Rome 366-167 B.C., Latomus, 1985. ISBN9782870311288
I don't have page numbers, I would need someone to scan me the table of contents first.
@Pajz: Thank you, but unfortunately it's not the pages I needed. I understand now that the Lexicon Topographicum Urbis Romae was published in several tomes, then seven supplements have been published. As I said above, I wasn't sure of the reference I found, which was something like "Lexicon IV". I thought it meant supplement IV, but apparently it was volume 4 of the main series. Sorry about that. So the correct ref is:
Hello. I would like the entry for The Jets (USA band) at this source for Special Kinda Love:
Whitburn, Joel (2004). Joel Whitburn's Hot Dance/disco, 1974-2003. Record Research Incorporated. ISBN9780898201567. OCLC56410033.
According to Billboard's website, Special Kinda Love did not chart on the Billboard Hot Dance/Disco Club Play chart (now Dance Club Songs).
However, my edit was just reverted by an IP editor, so I would like to be 100% sure. Unfortuanely, I do not have a page number for The Jets (USA band) entry in this book.
MrLinkinPark333, it looks like a full 46 articles cite this work, so perhaps another editor has this available. Taking a look at those articles and edit histories, the editors who added this as a source are:
Hi there, I do not see "Special Kinda Love" listed in Joel Whitburn's Hot Dance/Disco 1974-2003 (data compiled from Billboard's Dance/Disco Club Play Charts), p. 137. However, I do find the song listed on Joel Whitburn's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Singles, 1942-2004 (chart data compiled from Billboard's R&B singles charts). In that book, "Special Kinda Love" is listed on p. 298 as having charted first on 10/27/90, peaking at #83, and remaining on the chart for 5 weeks. It appears to be the 11th and final song by The Jets to reach this chart.
Do you need images of the pages from the books? If there is a way that I can provide those and upload them, I will do so.
Greetings, has someone access to this chapter? "Elliot, D. H. "Paleovolcanological setting of the Mawson Formation: evidence from the Prince Albert Mountains, Victoria Land." Antarctica at the Close of a Millenium 35 (2002): 185-192."
