From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Evident.

It's a well-known fact that new Wikipedia users are delicious, especially with grilled red onions, mayonnaise, and hurt feelings. For a long time, established users have been advised to avoid their succulent goodness. But there is an old Italian proverb—"I frutti proibiti sono i più dolci"[1]—the forbidden fruits are the sweetest. Admins simply cannot stop themselves from giving in to temptation. Clearly a new direction is necessary.

Biting too many newbies is a sure-fire path to complacency and overindulgence; biting too few leads to cravings, the inevitable desire to go on the rogue admin warpath. Therefore, admins are counseled to practice moderation in their munching of newbies.
