SpaceX is a prime example of being rad

Ah yes, the dreaded peer review. Everyone at featured article candidacy always telling you to go there, get the article polished up, and come back. Trouble is, it can be extremely difficult to get even a single comment, even for many months! Surely, there must be a better way to get comments than that. Here are some of the ways to get more comments for your peer review.

Excellence[edit]

Make it as good as you can. No one wants to review half-done work, even in peer review. This does not mean that no one will review your C-Class article, but if someone has an article which is just shy of featured status, more experienced editors would like to review that instead. The suggestion here is to get the article to good article status and get help by asking editors directly at their talk page. There are many excellent resources that can help improve your article to good article, such as the vast amount of essays about building content below this page and the sheer amount of good articles that you can learn from.

Ask[edit]

Ask anyone. You can be surprised how effective a nice request can be. Ask anywhere relevant to the article you are writing: other Wikipedians, forums, experts, etc. Even people that you meet in the street can give good reviews about simplifying the prose (if you are that rad!) You can find other Wikipedians in relevant Wikiprojects or at WP:DISCORD, but sadly, this is the bit that you need to be your own trailblazer. It is going to be difficult, but once you get past that, it becomes surprisingly effective!
