Butidrine (INN) (brand names Betabloc, Butidrate, Recetan), or butedrineorbutydrine, also known as hydrobutamineoridrobutamine, is a beta blocker related to pronethalol[1] and propranolol[2] that was developed in the 1960s.[3][4] Similarly to certain other beta blockers, butidrine also possesses local anesthetic properties.[5]
