医薬品[編集]

デキサメタゾンなどの合成糖質コルチコイドは、コルチゾールよりも強力に糖質コルチコイド受容体に結合する。デキサメタゾンはコルチゾールの構造をベースにしているが、3つの位置(炭素1と2の間のAリングに二重結合が追加されていること、9-α-フルオロ基と16-α-メチル置換基が追加されていること)が異なる。
